City + Capital are currently representing a highly respected challenger bank who are actively seeking to appoint an experienced & knowledgeable Key Account Manager to their high-flying Bridging & BTL division.
The Company
Our client are one of the UK’s best-known brands for specialist property finance lending and have expanded with great success, diversifying their product range significantly to ensure they can service a broad range of property professional and investor.
A key part of the product set is their bridging finance and BTL offerings, complemented by their internal setup that consolidates their mortgage, BTL and bridging teams into a single combined division to foster growth, improve broker experience, and lending processes.
This division is targeting exciting growth in key areas of the country and now require an experienced & confident Key Account Manager who will lead lending performance and key account relationships in the North of the UK.
Role Overview
As Key Account Manager you will take responsibility for key broker & lending performance for the North of the UK, including Scotland.
You will plan your regional strategy to segment, engage & expand the key account index and will continue to work with your longstanding & loyal broker and introducer contacts from the market.
Ultimately, the role will be critical in ensuring our client achieves their own lending growth objectives, with the North of the UK noted as a key region for expansion across the bridging and BTL product sets.
Throughout you will be ably supported by our client’s highly experienced & proactive operations teams, covering case management, underwriting and credit. This will allow you to focus on what you do best – working with your key accounts, educating them, growing relationships and identifying the ideal lending opportunities that meet the banks appetite.
The ideal individual for this role will be an experienced specialist lending BDM, Key Account Manager, Originator (etc…) with a demonstrable track record of lending in the bridging and/or BTL sector.
Key will be a strong reputation in the market as you look to establish yourself within & with key accounts that you have worked with before, as well as those that you aspire to work with moving forward.
You will understand ’what a good deal looks like’ and will be comfortable when liaising with underwriting & credit as deals progress, capable of managing a live pipeline of loans in line with the SLAs of borrowers and the demands of brokers.
You will be comfortable travelling across the region to attend broker meetings and events and will be happy to undertake national travel, which may include strategy days at our client’s HQ in London, or shows, events and awards across the country.
Ultimately, you will be happy to be ’the face of the north and will be confident in enhancing reputation & performance through activity.
On Offer
Our client is ideally looking to pay up to c£90k as a basic salary, relevant to experience. Higher offers may be considered if the talent is deemed exceptional.
Salary will be complemented by access to an excellent benefits and bonus package which will significantly increase earnings.
Notably, this is an opportunity that may lead to more senior roles within, where excellent performance is delivered.
As the North of the UK is a key growth area, opportunities to propel salary & career standing forward within may be prevalent, as the region expands and additional resource is required to achieve growing objectives.
