Tradewind Recruitment is working with a Pupil Referral Service (PRS) in Rochdale to recruit a Maths Supply Teacher for a long-term temporary role, covering an extended absence.
This is an excellent opportunity for a maths specialist who enjoys smaller class sizes, purposeful teaching, and making a real impact with KS3-KS4 learners in an alternative provision setting.
The Role
*Teach Maths across KS3-KS4, including GCSE and Functional Skills
*Focus on core numeracy and practical, real-life maths (budgeting, finance, independence skills)
*Work with small groups in a supportive, relationship-focused environment
*Support pupils with SEMH needs and disrupted education backgrounds
You’ll Need
*QTS or QTLS
*Recent experience teaching Maths to pupils aged 10-16
*Confidence delivering GCSE Maths and/or Functional Skills
*Strong classroom management and a consistent, calm approach
*Experience in PRS, PRU or SEMH settings is desirable but not essential
