Our client based in Reading are looking to hire a Finance Manager on a permanent basis, this is a hybrid role and working very closely with the owner of the business. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience in working within an SME environment, doing everything from day-to-day finance like paying invoices through to producing monthly management accounts.
Key experience and duties include:
*Prepare monthly management accounts and year-end reporting.
*Process supplier invoices and conduct bi-monthly supplier payment runs directly from the bank, dealing with any supplier queries.
*Lead on annual budgeting and reforecasting processes.
*Produce accurate cashflow forecasts and scenario planning.
*Ensure compliance with tax legislation, VAT returns, and statutory obligations.
*Raise and issue client invoices, reconcile receipts, and manage credit control.
This role would someone who is qualified by experience or actively studying towards a recognized professional qualification such as the ACCA or CIMA. The suitable candidate will have Xero experience and enjoying working in a standalone position.
