Business Operations Coordinator – Investment Banking Team

We’re looking for a proactive and switched-on Business Operations Coordinator to join a fast-growing investment banking team in a global investment bank. This is a newly created role to support the M&A Business Manager to provide analytical support with a fantastic opportunity for someone to really build and grow the role.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic, high-performing environment, gain exposure to senior stakeholders, and contribute directly to the team’s strategic initiatives.
What You’ll Do
*Maintain and track the team’s deal pipeline and priority databases across M&A
*Update internal coverage lists, presentations, and league table monitoring
*Prepare periodic and ad hoc business performance reports to support strategic objectives
*Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and take notes/action points for senior management
*Provide analytical and operational support to help the team execute strategic priorities efficiently
Who You Are
*Previous experience in investment banking – desired
*An analytical skill set and approach
*Strong Excel skills and comfortable working with large datasets
*Self-starter with initiative, able to hit the ground running
*Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
*Confident supporting senior stakeholders and collaborating across teams
*Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
