Purchase Ledger Clerk
£16.00 ph

Our client are looking for an agency worker to support a finance team and take ownership of the purchase ledger function. This is a great role for someone who has purchase ledger experience and enjoys working with numbers, suppliers, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities:
*Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
*Matching invoices to purchase orders
*Managing supplier accounts and resolving queries
*Preparing and processing payment runs
*Reconciling supplier statements
*Maintaining accurate financial records in line with company procedures
About You:
*Previous experience in a purchase ledger / accounts payable role
*Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
*Comfortable working with accounting software and Excel
*Good organisational and time-management skills
*Confident communicator with suppliers and internal teams
*Able to work independently and as part of a team
*Good use of systems to include knowledge of Zero
*Ideally anyone with Parish Council experience would be advantageous, this is not essential
*Hours are flexible and to suit the applicant
