Senior Construction Trading UnderwriterOverview
We are working with a specialist MGA that is extending its construction underwriting proposition from London into the regional broker market. They are now looking to appoint a Senior Construction Trading Underwriter to help establish and grow this capability in the North.
This role offers the opportunity to be one of the first regional construction hires and play a key role in shaping how the class is traded locally.Key ResponsibilitiesUnderwrite and trade construction risks across a broad spectrum of project types Build and maintain strong broker relationships through regular face-to-face trading Act as a visible market presence for the construction proposition Develop a profitable, sustainable book of business Work closely with capacity providers and internal stakeholders Support the longer-term growth of a regional construction teamWhat We’re Looking ForProven experience as a construction trading underwriter Strong broker relationships and market reputation Track record of writing larger, complex construction risks Comfortable operating with delegated authority within an MGA Motivated by the opportunity to build and shape a regional propositionWhy Apply?
