Job title: Geoenvironmental Consultant
Location: Lincoln
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
An established environmental and ground engineering consultancy in Lincoln is looking to take on a Geoenvironmental Consultant to support the delivery of a varied portfolio of site investigation and land quality projects. This role offers the chance to work on technically interesting sites while developing your skills within a supportive and experienced team.
You will be involved in projects from initial desk study through to remediation and validation, working across sectors including residential, commercial, infrastructure, and redevelopment.
Key responsibilities:
*Producing Phase 1 Desk Studies and Preliminary Risk Assessments
*Supporting Phase 2 site investigations and supervising site works
*Soil, groundwater, and gas monitoring and sampling
*Interpreting laboratory data and contributing to interpretative reports
*Undertaking quantitative and qualitative risk assessments
*Assisting with remediation strategy design and validation reporting
*Liaising with clients, contractors, and regulators
What we’re looking for:
*Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Geoenvironmental Engineering, or a related discipline
*Experience in land quality and contaminated land projects (graduate to mid-level considered)
*Factual and interpretative report writing experience
*Familiarity with UK guidance such as CLR11, BS10175, and EA frameworks
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*Full UK driving licence
