Senior / Technical Paraplanner

Location: Altrincham (2–3 days office / 2–3 days home)
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
A well established financial advisory firm is looking for an experienced Senior/Technical Paraplanner to support our adviser team in delivering high-quality, compliant financial advice.
The role
You’ll take ownership of complex cases, producing suitability reports and technical research across investments, pensions, IHT planning and protection. You’ll work closely with advisers, manage cases end-to-end through Salesforce, and liaise on more complex recommendations.
Key responsibilities include:
*Writing clear, compliant suitability reports and annual review letters
*Research, illustrations, critical yield analysis and cashflow modelling
*Managing advice cases through Salesforce
*Supporting advisers with technical input and compliance queries
*Keeping up to date with regulation, legislation and advice frameworks
About you
*Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (working towards Level 6 preferred)
*Minimum 5 years’ paraplanning experience
*Strong technical knowledge and excellent attention to detail
*Comfortable working autonomously in a hybrid environment
*Confident communicator with a proactive, organized approach
