Job Description:
Do you have experience in preparing all the journals for the month end, looking to step up and prepare a full set of accounts?
Are you a driven ACCA/CIMA studier eager to learn and grow?
A profitable Marketing Communications Agency based in funky offices based in Central London are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join their medium size finance team, reporting to Financial Controller.
As a Management Accountant, you’ll be part of a collaborative finance team, responsible for accurate monthly and year-end management accounting. You’ll combine strong technical skills with a proactive, relationship-led approach, working closely with teams across the business.
*Prepare monthly and year-end management accounts, analysis and reporting
*Deliver variance analysis and monthly commentary
*Support management reporting and ad-hoc analysis
*Ensure month-end close, reconciliations and compliance with IFRS and group guidelines
*Manage accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
*Oversee intercompany recharges and resolve queries
*Prepare monthly flash, actuals and statutory returns (VAT, P11D, PSA)
*Support audits, budgeting and forecasting
*Improve systems, processes and controls (ERP systems)
The Person*Ideally Part-qualified or qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA)
*Advanced Excel and strong Microsoft Office skills
*Strong IFRS and internal compliance experience
*Good P&L and balance sheet knowledge
*Proactive, organised and comfortable working in fast paced environment
*Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
