Behaviour Mentor
Location: North London, Enfield
Job Type: Full Time, Part Time
Start Date: ASAP
Tradewind Recruitment is working with a supportive school in Enfield to recruit a Behaviour Mentor to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs on a full-time basis.
This is a rewarding role for someone experienced in supporting students with behavioural and emotional needs, helping them engage positively with learning and school life.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small-group SEMH support
* Support pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour management
* Implement behaviour and SEMH support plans
* Use de-escalation strategies to manage challenging behaviour
* Act as a positive role model throughout the school day
* Work closely with teachers and pastoral teams
Requirements:
* Experience supporting pupils with SEMH and challenging behaviour
* Calm, patient, and resilient approach
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Ability to work full time and start ASAP
