An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and hands-on Finance Manager to join a growing organisation with ambitious plans for the future. We are seeking a highly organised individual to lead a small finance team and ensure the smooth, accurate and efficient running of all finance and payroll operations.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will lead a small team and take ownership of core financial responsibilities, including:
*Preparation of monthly management accounts
*Preparing financial information for monthly board meetings
*Producing statutory accounts and corporation tax calculations
*Managing the annual audit process
*Completing VAT returns (UK/Ireland/Netherlands)
*Intrastat reporting
*Overseeing daily cash management
*Supervising purchase ledger and sales ledger functions
*Payroll preparation and sign-off
*Providing ad-hoc analysis for internal and external stakeholders
*Monthly stock valuation
*Posting journals
*Balance sheet reconciliations
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
*The ideal candidate will be part ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
*A positive, friendly and flexible team player
*Experienced in managing and developing people
*Computer literate with strong Microsoft Office with Advanced Excel
*Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
*An excellent communicator at all levels
