Legal Cashier, Guildford, to £40000 + Excellent Benefits

We’re looking for a confident, organised, and proactive Legal Cashier with at least 2 years of relevant experience to join our Law Firm client’s busy Accounts Department. This role is central to ensuring smooth financial operations across the firm, supporting both client work and internal teams.
In this role you’ll play a key part in managing client and business funds, keeping financial processes running like clockwork. Daily duties will include:
*Managing payment requisitions — approving, printing, and recording
*Processing card payment reports and posting transactions
*Handling bill requests efficiently and accurately
*Processing search and non-search disbursements
*Entering CHAPS and Faster Payments and uploading to online banking
*Responding to queries with professionalism and accuracy
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
*2 years’ experience working as a Legal Cashier
*Strong knowledge of online banking, SRA Accounts Rules, and AML regulations
*Excellent prioritisation skills — calm under pressure, even in a fast-paced environment
*A confident, professional telephone manner and strong customer-service approach
*Solid MS Office skills, including Excel
*High accuracy, strong numeracy skills, and great attention to detail
*A collaborative approach and strong team-working skills
