Reception Teacher - Full Time
About the School:
A lovley Voluntary Aided Primary School i’m working with are looking for an enthusustic Reception Teacher to join welcoming, faith-based school in Dunstable, which serves children aged 4-11 with 30 places per year group. The school are committed to nurturing the whole child within a supportive Christian ethos, encouraging love, kindness, and respect. The close-knit community provides an environment where staff can make a genuine, lasting impact on young learners through a broad and engaging curriculum.
The Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Reception Teacher to join the team from February Half Term 2026 until the end of the academic year. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a nurturing, values-driven school and support the development of our youngest learners.
Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences for Reception children, fostering curiosity and a love of learning.
*Support the holistic development of children within a nurturing, Christian environment.
*Plan and implement a broad, balanced curriculum in line with school policies and the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
*Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues, contributing to the school’s warm and welcoming ethos.
*Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback and support as appropriate.
We Are Looking For:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Experience teaching in the Early Years or Key Stage 1 is desirable
*A warm, approachable, and flexible professional with excellent communication skills
*Someone who embraces the school’s Christian values and can support a nurturing, inclusive learning environment
*Enthusiasm for making a positive difference to children’s learning and development
*Able to commute to Dunstable
