Job Title: Behaviour Mentor (SEMH) Location: Islington
Start Date:ASAP Start
Salary: £112 - £120 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Long-term, Full-time | 8:30am - 3:45pm
Are you a compassionate Behaviour Mentor with a passion for supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?
Remedy Education is recruiting for a full-time Behaviour Mentor to join a welcoming SEMH performing arts school in Islington this September.
The Role: * Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEMH needs

* Help implement Individual Behaviour Plans (IBPs) and targeted strategies

* Use a child-centred approach to manage challenging behaviours effectively

* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

* Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and the pastoral team

* Monitor progress and contribute to behaviour reports and intervention plans

Requirements: * Experience working in a primary school setting is essential

* Proven background supporting children with SEMH or challenging behaviour

* Excellent communication, resilience, and teamwork skills

* A proactive and empathetic approach to supporting pupils’ needs

* An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
