Management Accountant - Finance Business Partnering
Location: Northampton ( 4 days in the office)
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000
We’re looking for a commercially minded Management Accountant to join a finance team based in Northampton, supporting UK operations in a hybrid role that blends core management accounting with hands-on finance business partnering.
This is a key role with full ownership of the UK P&L, working closely with operational and commercial stakeholders to drive performance, improve decision-making and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
*Full ownership of the UK P&L, including month-end close, variance analysis and reporting
*Production of accurate and timely management accounts
*Budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning for UK operations
*Partnering with operational and commercial teams to provide financial insight and challenge
*Supporting cost control, profitability analysis and performance improvement initiatives
*Providing clear financial analysis to support business decisions
*Improving processes, controls and reporting where appropriate
About You
*Qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) or qualified by experience
*Strong background in management accounting
*Experience in a finance business partnering or commercially focused role
*Confident working with senior stakeholders and non-finance teams
*Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate numbers into insight
*Comfortable owning a P&L and working in a fast-paced environment
