Job Description:
If you’re a Finance Business Partner who enjoys improving the bottom line and looking for a clear path to Head of Business Partnering / Head of FP&A, this might be the opportunity for you. We are recruiting for a manufacturing business at a pivotal stage, where you’ll play a key role in shaping commercial decisions, driving operational performance, and creating a business partnering function from scratch. Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for:
*Play a key role in shaping commercial decisions and driving operational performance
*Working closely with key stakeholders, such as Operations Director, Customer Teams, Supply Chain
*Supporting and challenging business initiatives
*Monitoring trends and highlighting potential risk factors
*Scenario planning, forecasting and risk modelling
*Converting order intake into revenue, P&L, margin and resource planning
*Challenging optimistic assumptions in forecasts
*Upskilling operational leaders on financial understanding
*Supporting system and process transformation
*Improving data quality and alignment across multiple operational systems
*Working within a contract-based revenue model
*Supporting reforecasting cycles to improve accuracy and efficiency.
What you will need:
*Previous experience as a Finance Business Partner, Commercial Finance Manager, FP&A, FP&A Manager, or similar in a high volume or complex manufacturing environment
*Strong influencing and business partnering skills, with a track record of supporting change and transformation
*Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or strong QBE
*Advanced Excel skills for modelling and data manipulation
*Experience in a private equity environment is a plus
*Proactive, commercially minded, and confident communicator, able to challenge and influence effectively
