OverviewWe are recruiting for an experienced Bodyshop Manager to lead a busy and well-established bodyshop operation in Southampton. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, driving productivity and profitability, and ensuring high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities*Manage the day-to-day running of the bodyshop
*Lead, motivate, and develop bodyshop staff including Panel Beaters, Paint Technicians, MET Technicians, and Admin
*Ensure repairs are completed to manufacturer and insurance standards
*Monitor workflow, productivity, and efficiency
*Manage customer satisfaction and handle escalated issues
*Ensure compliance with health & safety, manufacturer, and insurer requirements
*Control costs, budgets, and profitability
*Liaise with insurers, suppliers, and internal departments
Skills & Experience Required*Proven experience as a Bodyshop Manager or Bodyshop Controller
*Strong leadership and people management skills
*Good technical understanding of bodyshop repair processes
*Experience working with insurance companies and estimates
*Excellent organisational and communication skills
*Full UK driving licence
