Accounts Assistant / Accounts Technician – Belfast (Office Based)
Location: Belfast- BT5
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm (1 hour lunch)

We are delighted to be recruiting for an Accounts Assistant / Accounts Technician to join a busy and supportive Finance team based in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and contributing to accurate financial reporting.
The Role
The successful candidate will support the Finance team with day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate financial records and assisting with monthly reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities
*Perform regular bank reconciliations
*Maintain customer and supplier ledgers
*Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L analysis and balance sheet reconciliations
*Prepare VAT returns for review
*Maintain fixed asset registers
*Support daily finance activities across UK and Irish entities
*Provide general finance and administrative support as required
The Person
*Previous experience in accounts preparation with strong attention to detail
*Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles
*Strong Excel skills and experience using accounting systems (Sage experience desirable)
*Relevant qualification advantageous (Part-Qualified / QBE / IATI), though practical experience is key
