Job Description:

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will play a central role in delivering management accounts, financial planning, reporting, and analysis. You will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and full regulatory compliance. Your financial expertise will be instrumental in supporting strategic decision-making and maintaining the organisation’s financial stability.
Key Responsibilities
*Prepare and present monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis.
*Oversee sales and purchase ledger activities, ensuring efficient and well-controlled processes.
*Manage cash flow forecasting and budgeting to support ongoing financial health.
*Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
*Deliver clear financial insights to senior management to inform growth and strategic decisions.
*Ensure compliance with internal controls, reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
*Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners.
*Identify and implement process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency.
Skills/ Experience Required
*ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification (desirable).
*Strong experience in management accounting and cash flow forecasting.
*Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
*Advanced Excel skills and financial modelling experience (advantageous).
*Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
*Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to senior stakeholders.
