Accounts Payable Assistant

3 Month Temp Role

Location: London, UK

Hourly rate: £17/hour

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Payable Assistant to join a reputable investment firm located in the vibrant West End of London for the next 3 months. You will be responsible for providing assistance with financial, administrative, and clerical services including processing and monitoring accounts payable transactions to ensure finances are maintained in an effective and timely manner.

What You Will Do

Working as part of a team, your responsibilities will include:

*Process and verify invoices for goods and services, ensuring compliance with financial policies, and manage the invoice approval process in Concur.
*Maintain invoice inboxes, resolve issues promptly, and prepare invoice batches for data entry and weekly BACS payments.
*Manage supplier relationships, including verification of new suppliers and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
*Maintain accurate accounts payable records in SAP, perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and produce reporting from Concur.
Who you are

We are looking for a detail-focused candidate who wants to join a progressive firm. We are looking for:-

*3+ years previous experience in an accounts payable role is essential
*Excellent data entry skills
*Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel and PowerPoint
*Experience working with expense/invoicing tools e.g., Concur
*Studies in finance, accounting, or a related field is desirable
*Experience using SAP is highly desirable
