The Role
The Manual Turner will be responsible for producing high-quality components within a machine shop environment.
Key responsibilities include:
*Setting and operating manual lathes
*Producing one-off and small-batch precision components
*Working from engineering drawings
*Measuring and inspecting parts to tight tolerances
*Maintaining a clean, safe working environment
About You
To be suitable for this Manual Turner role, you will need:
*Proven experience as a Manual Turner
*Confidence working from technical drawings
*Strong attention to detail and quality standards
*A reliable, self-motivated approach
*Experience using Colchester manual lathes
Desirable:
*Welding experience
