HR Officer
*Job Type: Temporary, up to 3 months
*Location: Swansea
*Pay rate: Up to £14.24 per hour
We are seeking a dedicated HR Officer to deliver high-quality operational HR support across the employee lifecycle. This role is pivotal in providing day-to-day HR expertise, supporting compliance with HR policies and employment legislation, and contributing to continuous improvement in HR processes and service delivery.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Maintain and oversee the accuracy of HR records, databases, and systems, ensuring compliance with data protection requirements.
*Process HR-related transactions such as new starters, transfers, changes, and leavers in line with policy and legislation.
*Act as a point of contact for HR queries from employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
*Support benefits administration, performance management processes, and other core HR activities as required.
*Prepare HR documentation, reports, and data to support audits, workforce reporting, and decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*2–4 years’ experience in an HR support or HR officer role.
*Sound knowledge of HR practices, procedures, and basic employment law.
*Strong organisational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
*CIPD Level 3 or 5 is preferable or be working towards a professional HR qualification.
*Experience supporting benefits administration or HR reporting.
*Familiarity with HR metrics, audits, or compliance activity.
*Experience working in a fast-paced or multi-site organisation.
*Welsh language skills.
*A full driving licence and access to a car for work purposes (reasonable adjustments will be considered for disabled applicants).
