Sales Consultant - New Build Homes Location: Aberdeen, North East Scotland
Employment Type: Permanent | Full Time
About the Role An established and highly respected residential developer is seeking a Sales Consultant to join their Aberdeen-based team. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving reservations and sales across a portfolio of high-quality new build homes.
This is a customer-focused position where you’ll manage the full sales journey - from initial enquiry and reservation through to exchange and legal completion - ensuring every buyer receives a seamless, five-star experience. You’ll use a consultative sales approach, strong negotiation skills, and excellent attention to detail while maintaining accurate records within the CRM system.
The business is known for creating well-designed homes in desirable locations and for fostering a culture built on quality, respect, delivery, and passion.
Key Responsibilities * Build strong relationships with prospective purchasers and guide them through the buying journey
* Demonstrate detailed knowledge of local developments, house types, specifications, and the wider property market
* Accurately input and manage customer data within the CRM system to maintain a strong sales pipeline
* Negotiate prices and present available incentives to secure reservations
* Assist customers with selections of optional extras and upgrades
* Maintain impeccable presentation standards across all sales and customer-facing areas
* Lead customer handover meetings to ensure a smooth and positive completion experience
* Conduct market research and provide insights to sales and marketing teams
* Complete all administrative tasks accurately and efficiently
* Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental policies
* Adhere to relevant industry regulations including NHQC, GDPR, and the Consumer Protection Act

To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:
* Previous sales experience within a strong customer-facing sales environment
* A consultative sales style with a proven ability to deliver memorable customer experiences
* Confidence communicating with customers via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings
* Strong negotiation skills and a focus on achieving KPIs and targets
* Excellent organisation, time management, and attention to detail
* The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
* A professional, positive, and proactive approach
Additional Requirements * Previous experience using a CRM system is essential (Salesforce desirable)
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Flexibility to work weekends and lone working when required
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
