Care Solicitor – Nuneaton
We are working with a well-established and highly regarded Nuneaton-based law firm that is looking to recruit an experienced Care Solicitor to join its busy and expanding Care Department.

Key Responsibilities
*Managing your own caseload of pre-proceedings and public law children matters
*Conducting advocacy in case management and contested public law hearings
*Taking detailed client instructions and providing clear, targeted legal advice
*Drafting applications, statements and supporting documentation
*Applying for and managing Legal Aid public funding, including POA claims, disbursements and interim costs
*Using case management systems, LAA CCMS and the HMCTS FPL Portal
*Briefing and working closely with Counsel where appropriate
*Delivering a consistently high standard of client care
About You
*Qualified Solicitor with 3–5 years’ PQE
*Strong technical knowledge and experience managing a mixed caseload
*Confident working independently while contributing positively to a team environment
*Experienced in advocacy, drafting and court proceedings
*Organised, proactive and client-focused
