Job Description:
Role Overview:
We are working with a leading pensions and professional services organisation who are seeking an Pensions Data Services Consultant to join their expanding team.
This role is focused on delivering high-quality pensions data solutions for both administered and external schemes, supporting a wide range of projects including data cleansing, regulatory compliance, and buy-in/buy-out transactions. The role is hybrid offering exposure to a variety of technical and client-facing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
*Support schemes in preparing data for buy-in/buy-out transactions.
*Assist with GMP reconciliation, rectification, and equalisation exercises.
*Prepare schemes for the Pensions Dashboard and other regulatory initiatives.
*Conduct benefit audits and data cleansing to ensure accuracy and completeness.
*Support new business transitions and onboarding processes.
*Collaborate with internal administration teams and external clients to deliver tailored data solutions.
*Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to team development.
Experience Required:
*Strong knowledge of Defined Benefit pension schemes.
*Experience in DB pensions administration and data management.
*Skilled in bulk calculation projects and data transformation.
*Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
*Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
*Collaborative mindset with excellent client and colleague relationship skills.
*APMI qualified or working towards qualification.
*Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
*Comfortable managing defined budgets and project scopes.
*Commitment to delivering high-quality work and client satisfaction.
