Our client, a leading engineering provider in Portland, Dorset, is seeking a proactive and influential Management Accountant to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
*Implement and maintain strong financial controls and disciplines
*Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and ad-hoc financial reports
*Deliver timely and insightful management information to support decision-making
*Provide reliable forecasting and reporting to key stakeholders, adapting to business changes
*Work closely with the wider business to manage cashflow and proactively identify risks
*Build strong working relationships and present confidently at all levels
*Maintain compliance with financial policies, standards, and processes
*Communicate financial information effectively to non-finance managers
*Champion best-practice finance processes and drive continuous improvement
*Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial data
Requirements:
*CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualified (QBE considered)
*Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounting roles
*Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills
*Adaptable, positive, and keen to support the ongoing development of the finance function
*Experience in long-term project accounting under IFRS 15
*Background in engineering or manufacturing environments preferred
