Job Description:
Service Care Legal are working with a highly regarded Legal 500-ranked firm in West London is seeking an experienced Children Panel Accredited Child Care Solicitor to join its growing Family team. This is a senior role offering autonomy, flexible working, and the opportunity to supervise junior colleagues.
ROLE: Childcare Solicitor (Children Panel Accredited)
LOCATION: West London
Salary: £45,000–£60,000 DOE
PQE: 5+ years
The Role
*Manage a complex public and private Child Care caseload, including Legal Aid/CCMS and advocacy
*Represent parents, family members, and children (directly or via CAFCASS Guardians)
*Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and caseworkers, supporting team development
*Contribute to business development and strengthening referral networks
The Person
*Children Panel Accredited Solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE in Child Care
*Strong experience in Legal Aid, care proceedings, and sensitive client matters
*Confident advocate with excellent drafting, case management, and client care skills
*Commercially aware, proactive, and able to build trusted professional relationships
