Job Description:
I am currently working with a wonderful primary school based in the heart of the Lake District.
The school are looking to appoint a teaching assistant to work 5 days per week 8.45-3.30 each day. This would be until the end of the summer term initially but will be extended to an indefinite placement for the right candidate. For the remainder of this academic year, the role is predominantly with KS2 in Year 5/6 class (a really excellent group of children) and one hour a day is currently spent down in KS1 helping to deliver a Read Write Inc phonics group.
The ideal candidate will be available 5 days per week and hold a minimum level 2 qualification. Experience of working in Ks2 is highly advantageous but not essential.
We offer salary to scale as a PAYE candidate along with free professional development.
