Full-Time School Caretaker - Ashford
Academics are currently recruiting a Full-Time Caretaker to work on behalf of a local school in Ashford. This is a great opportunity for an experienced and reliable caretaker to join a supportive school environment.
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Pay: Competitive (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities: * Opening and closing the school site

* General maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of the premises

* Carrying out health & safety and compliance checks

* Ensuring the school grounds are clean, safe, and well maintained

* Setting up rooms for lessons, events, and meetings

* Monitoring site security and liaising with contractors

* Supporting staff with day-to-day site needs

The Ideal Candidate: * Previous experience as a school caretaker, site supervisor, or facilities assistant

* Strong understanding of health & safety procedures

* Reliable, hands-on, and able to work independently

* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
