Facilities Assistant - (Elite Global Law Firm)
Location: Central London
Contract: Permanent
Reports to: Facilities & Office Services Manager
We are partnering with a prestigious international law firm to recruit an experienced Facilities Assistant for their London office. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, service-driven professional to join a high-performing team in a fast-paced corporate environment.
About the Role
This position plays a key part in ensuring the smooth running of a busy legal office. You’ll provide day-to-day facilities support, deliver exceptional customer service, and help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-organised workplace.
Key Responsibilities
*Asset tracking and service request management
*Regular floor walks to support staff and identify issues
*Reporting and monitoring maintenance issues with external vendors
*Supporting reactive tasks and project work with the wider team
*Coordinating office moves and workstation setups
*Preparing new joiner offices and assisting leavers
*Monitoring and reporting defects (lighting, HVAC, leaks, blinds, etc.)
*Carrying out basic repairs and troubleshooting
*Supervising contractors as required
*Supporting health & safety inspections, DSE checks, and risk assessments
Candidate Profile
We are seeking someone who brings professionalism, initiative, and a strong customer-service mindset.
*Ideally at least 3 years’ experience in a facilities role within a law firm
*Excellent organisational and time-management skills
*Calm, professional approach in a busy environment
*Strong administrative and record-keeping abilities
*Comfortable with physical duties and hands-on tasks
*Strong communication skills across all levels
*Knowledge of health & safety and building services (desirable)
*H&S or IWFM qualifications (advantageous)
