Project Engineer
Location: Beccles, Suffolk
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30 (40 hrs/week)
Salary: Competitive, DOE
Contract: Permanent

Reporting to the Project & Site Services Manager, you’ll manage projects from machinery installation and decommissioning to continuous improvement initiatives - ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to high standards.

Key Responsibilities
*Deliver projects and improvement programs within agreed budgets/timelines
*Install, maintain, and decommission production machinery
*Collaborate with suppliers and contractors
*Ensure compliance with safety standards and complete risk assessments
*Drive efficiency and performance improvements
*Maintain accurate documentation
*Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards
*Comply with company EHS policies and statutory provisions
*Take responsibility and maintain high standards of work
*Occasional travel to other sites
Qualifications & Experience *NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
*Knowledge of a second discipline
*Experience with manufacturing/production equipment
*PUWER and machinery safety knowledge (desirable)
*Full UK driving licence; forklift licence (desirable)
