Financial Controller | Fully Remote | c. £65k
Working with a growing Media Agency to hire a Financial Controller to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, supporting the business with strong reporting, analysis and process improvement.
This role suits someone hands-on, commercially minded and comfortable using technology to work efficiently. You’ll work closely with the CFO, providing reliable control, clear reporting and meaningful insight to support decision-making.


The role
*Oversee UK and one global entity, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data
*Own monthly management accounts, month end close and core reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
*Provide clear variance analysis and insight to support decision-making
*Support budgeting, forecasting and rolling cash flow
*Maintain and improve finance processes, controls and reporting tools
*Use Excel and other systems to keep workflows efficient and fit for future growth
*Oversee payroll (largely automated)
*Manage and support a junior member of staff
*Partner with the senior finance, supporting with and leading on various projects to enable business growth
What we’re looking for
*Experience in an agency, creative, media or similar environment is beneficial
*Strong experience as a Financial Controller / Finance Manager / Senior Management Accountant
*Excellent Excel skills (essential) and confidence working with evolving data
*Solid understanding of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
*Commercially-minded with good analytical capability
*Process-driven with the ability to improve and connect workflows
*Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
*Qualification is not essential
