Sales Manager
An early-stage technology business in the B2B SaaS space is seeking its first commercial hire. This role is for a self-starting, hunter-style sales professional who thrives in fast-moving, high-growth environments.
The successful candidate will own the sales function from day one: generating new business, closing early customers, and eventually building a small team once the pipeline and processes are established. The platform is technology-led, solving complex operational and regulatory challenges for its customers.
The Role
*Hunt for new business: proactively identify and engage prospects with a focus on fast growth.
*Close deals end-to-end: manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract signing.
*Early-stage impact: first sales hire, setting the tone for the commercial function.
*Team-building: pave the way to hire and mentor future sales team members.
*Collaborate internally: work closely with product, marketing, and operations to accelerate growth.
This is a hands-on, revenue-generating role, ideally suited to someone who enjoys building a pipeline from scratch and has the confidence to sell directly to decision-makers.
About You
*Proven track record in hunter-style tech / SaaS sales
*Experience selling to businesses, preferably into regulated or tech-driven markets
*Comfortable working independently and driving results in a startup environment
*Motivated by targets and tangible results
*Ability to lay the groundwork for scaling a commercial function
Desirable: some experience in building or leading small sales teams and familiarity with consultative enterprise sales.
