Hours: Day Shift, 37 hours per week
Hourly rate: £32-34 per hour, Salary equivalent: £44-47K
About the Role
We are seeking a Compliance Engineer for an Tier 1 Automotive Supplier. This role is critical in ensuring that all maintenance activities meet compliance standards and statutory requirements. You will play a key part in managing inspections, maintaining records, and supporting accreditation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all statutory maintenance regulations and company standards.
- Coordinate and manage statutory inspections across facilities and equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for compliance audits.
- Support and drive ISO accreditation processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure reliability and maintenance (R&M) best practices are implemented.
- Assist in planning and scheduling maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience in maintenance compliance and statutory inspections.
- Knowledge of ISO standards and accreditation processes (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.).
- Strong understanding of reliability and maintenance principles.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience in maintenance and compliance.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
