The Role
As a key part of the commercial sales function, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, identifying prospective clients, and contributing to the development of a strong sales pipeline.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Researching and identifying prospective clients across targeted markets
*Proactively engaging potential customers via outbound calls, email outreach, and social selling
*Qualifying inbound and outbound leads using structured sales methodologies
*Working collaboratively with Business Development Managers and Client Relationship Managers to progress fully qualified opportunities
*Updating and maintaining accurate CRM records of client interactions and sales activity
*Supporting targeted sales campaigns and contributing to wider commercial initiatives
*Developing a strong understanding of products and services to confidently engage with prospects
About You
You will be an enthusiastic, resilient communicator who enjoys uncovering new business opportunities and building rapport quickly. You thrive within a collaborative team and are motivated by achieving targets and driving growth.
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
*Experience in sales, business development, or lead generation (B2B desirable)
*Strong communication skills across telephone, email, and social channels
*Competence using CRM or sales engagement systems
*A proactive, organised, and results-driven work ethic
*Familiarity with qualification frameworks (e.g., MEDDIC) – useful but not essential
*Persistence, resilience, and confidence in outbound prospecting
*A positive, team-focused attitude
