Job Description:
We are looking for Primary Supply Teachers who provide high-quality teaching cover across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2, ensuring continuity of learning during teacher absence while maintaining a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities*Deliver pre-planned lessons in line with the national curriculum
*Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
*Ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
*Support pupils’ academic and personal development during supply cover
*Adapt teaching style to meet the needs of different classes and age groups
*Provide clear feedback to permanent staff on pupil progress and behaviour
*Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and school procedures at all times
*Build positive relationships quickly with pupils, staff, and school leadership
*Use effective classroom management strategies to maintain engagement
*Supervise pupils during break times where required
Person Specification
Essential*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
*Experience teaching in UK primary schools (EYFS, KS1, or KS2)
*Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
*Ability to adapt quickly to new school environments
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
Desirable*Experience across multiple key stages
*SEN experience or additional training
*Flexibility to travel to different school locations
*Availability for short-notice or same-day bookings
