Trainee Accountant - Leeds city centre

This is an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Accountant to join a modern and growing Accountancy Practice based in Leeds.
You’ll be part of a friendly, collaborative team where there will be ongoing training and development plans in place.
What you’ll be doing:
*Preparing statutory and management accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
*Supporting bookkeeping duties such as journals and reconciliations
*Running weekly and monthly payrolls and managing pension submissions
*Assisting with self-assessment and corporation tax returns
*Liaising with HMRC and Companies House
*Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Who are we looking for?
*AAT qualified or Part Qualified ACA/ACCA
*2-3 years’ experience within a UK accountancy firm
*Confident communicating with clients and building long term relationships
*Good working knowledge of Xero
*Organised, proactive, and eager to progress your career
