Maintenance Manager

OverviewWe are currently working with a well-established managing agent based in South London who is looking to recruit a new member of staff for their growing maintenance team. The client is open to considering candidates at different levels, from an Assistant/Coordinator through to a more senior Maintenance Manager, depending on experience.
This is a hybrid role supporting the effective management of reactive and planned maintenance across a residential portfolio.
Key Responsibilities*Logging and managing reactive maintenance faults
*Issuing work orders to contractors and monitoring progress
*Scheduling and coordinating planned inspections and maintenance works
*Liaising with contractors, tenants, landlords, and internal teams
*Ensuring works are completed within agreed timeframes and budgets
*Managing maintenance records, reporting, and compliance documentation
*Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the maintenance function
Skills & Experience*Previous experience in property maintenance, block management, or a similar role
*Strong organisational and coordination skills
*Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
*Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
*Experience using Fixflo would be highly beneficial
*A proactive and problem-solving approach
