We’re looking for a Trainee Paraplanner with 1–2 years’ paraplanning experience to join a well-established financial planning firm in Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your technical skills, gain exposure to the full advice process, and progress toward Chartered status.
What you’ll be doing
*Supporting advisers with the preparation and maintenance of compliant client files
*Assisting with research and drafting suitability and recommendation reports
*Analysing investments using FE Analytics and Dynamic Planner
*Helping to review portfolios, pensions and ongoing client suitability
*Supporting the implementation of advice and ensuring all compliance paperwork is complete
What we’re looking for
*1–2 years’ experience in a paraplanning or technical support role
*Level 4 Diploma qualified or actively working towards this
*Strong attention to detail with good report-writing skills
*A proactive, organised approach and willingness to learn
*Understanding of the financial planning process and regulatory requirements
*Confident communicator with good IT skills
