Paraplanner Opportunity – Edinburgh
Hybrid working - 2 days office based
Take your technical expertise to the next level.
We’re looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join a high-quality financial planning firm in Edinburgh. You’ll work closely with advisers, play a key role in shaping client outcomes, and be supported to progress toward Chartered status.
What you’ll be doing
*Preparing and maintaining compliant, audit-ready client files
*Researching and drafting clear, client-focused recommendations
*Analysing investments using FE Analytics and Dynamic Planner
*Supporting advisers with cashflow forecasting and strategy design
*Reviewing portfolios, pensions and suitability across ongoing reviews
*Implementing advice and producing high-quality suitability reports
What we’re looking for
*Strong technical knowledge and excellent report-writing skills
*Level 4 Diploma – with ambition to become Chartered
*Proactive, detail-focused and confident working independently
*Solid understanding of the full financial planning process
*Strong communication skills and good IT capability

*Competitive salary DOE + discretionary bonus
*Hybrid and flexible working - 2 days office based
*25 days holiday + bank holidays (rising to 30)
*4% pension matched
