The opportunity:
Our client is looking for an experienced and results-driven manufacturing leader to oversee operations across machining, pressing and assembly. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will drive process improvement, operational efficiency and a culture of continuous excellence. This is a hands-on leadership role, offering the chance to transform traditional manufacturing practices and create lasting impact across the business.
Responsibilities:
*Leading a team of 50 across manufacturing, engineering and procurement functions
*Implementing lean and process improvement initiatives to boost efficiency, quality and output
*Driving manufacturing performance, cost reduction and profitability
*Championing a culture of engagement, innovation and continuous learning
*Ensuring operational standards deliver world-class quality, yield and customer satisfaction
The person:
*A hands-on operational leader with deep experience in machining, pressing and assembly
*Skilled at transforming manufacturing operations, with a strong track record of process improvements
*Inspirational and capable of leading, mentoring and motivating high-performing teams
*Experienced in delivering lean, efficient and customer-focused operations
