Job Title: GCSE Maths & English Tutor - Trafford
Location: Trafford (community-based or in-home sessions)

About the Role
Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced and passionate tutor to deliver GCSE Maths and English lessons on a 1:1 basis to students in Trafford. This role is ideal for someone who can adapt their teaching style to meet individual learning needs and help students build confidence and achieve academic success.
Key Responsibilities
*Deliver tailored GCSE Maths and English lessons, adapting content and pace to suit each learner.
*Support students in developing subject knowledge, study skills, and exam confidence.
*Create a safe, supportive learning environment and build positive rapport.
*Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to parents/carers or professionals.
*Prepare and implement structured learning plans, with a therapeutic approach where needed.
Essential Requirements
*Minimum 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring Maths and/or English.
*Right to work in the UK.
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain).
*Ability to work independently and manage flexible schedules.
Desirable Qualifications
*QTS or PGCE in Secondary Education.
*Experience working with learners with SEN (Autism, ADHD, SEMH).
Additional Information
*Sessions typically take place during school hours, with occasional after-school or evening opportunities.
*Prospero Teaching will support you with resources and regular progress monitoring.
