Financial Planning Administrator- Permanent | Full-time/ Part time
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (DOE)
Location: Whitley, Cheshire (Hybrid working available)
An established and highly regarded financial planning firm is seeking an experienced Financial Planning Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is a key role within the client services function, supporting financial planners and ensuring clients receive a consistently high level of service throughout their financial planning journey.
The Role
Reporting into the Client Services function, you will play an integral part in the day-to-day administration and servicing of client portfolios. You will be highly organised, proactive, and confident in managing multiple priorities while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
*Acting as a primary point of contact for clients, delivering a high standard of service
*Liaising with third-party providers, platforms, and professional connections
*Maintaining accurate client records and audit trails on internal systems
*Arranging and supporting client meetings, including preparation of documentation
*Managing client review processes, valuations, and supporting review packs
*Processing new business, fund switches, rebalancing, withdrawals, and portfolio transactions
*Preparing invoices, monitoring fee agreements, and chasing outstanding payments
*Completing post-review action points and general client servicing tasks
*Supporting with death claims and other ad hoc client requirements
Skills & Experience
*Previous experience in a Financial Planning Administrator or Client Services role within financial services
*Strong working knowledge of platforms and back-office systems such as Intelligent Office, Quilter, Aberdeen Wrap, Voyant, FE Analytics, or similar
*Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines
*Confident communicator with a professional, client-focused approach
*Strong IT skills and high attention to detail
Working Pattern
*Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (with an 8am-4pm finish on alternate Fridays)
*Hybrid working available: 3 days office-based, 2 days from home
