CNC Setter/Operator (Turning) - Sunderland
Salary: £37,500-£38,500
Hours: Full-time, 3-shift rotating pattern (Flexible)

What You’ll Be Doing:
*Safely operate CNC machines in compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
*Collaborate with production control, engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure seamless operations.
*Execute machining tasks to precise engineering drawings, maintaining quality at every stage.
*Edit and modify CNC programmes as needed to enhance production efficiency.
*Record work accurately using our shop floor computer system, aligning with production schedules.
*Conduct planned inspections using a variety of measuring equipment, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
*Mentor and support apprentices and trainees in their development.
*Uphold a proactive approach to Health & Safety, adhering to company policies.
Who We’re Looking For:
*Solid engineering qualifications with solid CNC machining experience, especially in milling and turning.
*Familiarity with CNC mill/turn machinery and 5/7-axis machining is a plus!
*Strong communication skills and a positive, adaptable attitude.
*NVQ or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline, plus completed engineering apprenticeship or equivalent practical experience.
