A consumer-focused financial services business is seeking an experienced Social Media & Content Manager to join the team on a 12-month maternity cover.

This role is ideal for a delivery-focused content person who enjoys owning execution and acting as the internal guardian of a brand. The Social Media & Content Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of organic social and owned content, working closely with internal teams and external agency partners.

Strategy planning is led by senior stakeholders and agency partners; this role focuses on execution, coordination, and brand protection.

You’ll:
?Execute and publish the approved organic social content calendar
?Act as internal approval for all organic social posts
?Ensure content aligns with brand tone, legal requirements, and platform best practice
?Coordinate social activity with email, app, PR, and campaign activity
?Create short-form, UGC-style video and imagery in-house
?Adapt and repurpose agency content for owned channels
?Manage content and assets across social, website, and app
?Upload and maintain blog and website content via CMS, following SEO briefs
?Review influencer and UGC content for brand fit and accuracy
?Support paid social, partnerships, and events with creative assets as needed

You’ll have:
Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, Content Manager, or similar
Strong understanding of organic social media and short-form video
Experience working with CMS platforms and SEO-led content
Confident coordinating with agencies and internal stakeholders
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and brand-conscious
