Reed/Lancashire Teaching Agency is seeking a Year 5 Teacher for a long-term supply position starting Monday, February 23rd, 2026, expected to last until the end of the Summer Term. This role involves teaching a class with complex behaviour needs, including three children with EHCPs and three more on the SEN register. This is a full-time position offering a competitive daily rate and the opportunity to contribute to your Teacher pension.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons appropriate for Key Stage 2 pupils with complex behavioural needs.
*Assess and record students’ progress, preparing them for end-of-year expectations.
*Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning.
*Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the educational environment.
*Address and support the specific needs of students with EHCPs and those on the SEN register.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*Experience teaching at the primary level, particularly in environments with complex behavioural needs.
*Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and inspire students.
*Proficient in planning and delivering lessons in line with the national curriculum, tailored to students with additional needs.
