The Company
Our client is a fast-growing, high-performance infrastructure business within industry. They’re looking for a Procurement and Contracts Manager Fixed Term to play a pivotal role within a major client transition project in the chemicals sector.

They will consider applications from candidates for a 9 month fixed-term or interim contract with the potential to extend to a permanent contract.

The Opportunity
Our client has secured a high-profile contract where a key expectation is to deliver meaningful OPEX savings throughout the transition period. This isn’t a BAU procurement role — it’s an opportunity to step into a visible, commercially critical position where your work will directly influence client confidence, long-term relationships and follow-on growth opportunities.

The Procurement and Contracts Manager will be:
*Reviewing and optimising high-value term contracts across OPEX
*Analysing supplier performance, unpicking inefficiencies and strengthening commercial control.
*Driving progress toward agreed savings commitments and demonstrating early value.
*Leading supplier engagement with credibility, challenge and diplomacy.
*Working closely with technical stakeholders during a period of organisational change.

About You
The Procurement and Contracts Manager role is for you if :
*You’re a commercially sharp negotiator, confident in high-value procurement/contract management remit and comfortable working autonomously - essential
*Proven track record in delivering significant savings and efficiencies in a similar remit/environment essential
*Procurement and contracts management expertise from within Industrial sector - Chemicals, Manufacturing, Engineering essential
*Strong negotiation skills, stakeholder engagement, relationship management and the ability to adapt quickly are essential.
*Are able to travel regularly to the client site in West Yorkshire with occasional central office visits.
