Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Tutor to support a Year 3 student in the DT8 area, delivering English and Maths for 6 hours per week. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on helping young people re-engage with education and build confidence in their learning.
? The Role As a Tutor, you will:
*Plan, prepare and deliver engaging, tailored sessions for a Year 3 learner.
*Monitor, assess and report on weekly student progress.
*Provide patient, compassionate and structured support.
*Be adaptable, organised and creative in your teaching.
*Record attendance and maintain clear documentation.
? About You We’re looking for someone who:
*Has a nurturing, caring and patient nature.
*Understands the Primary National Curriculum (English & Maths essential).
*Has experience supporting learners with SEN and/or SEMH needs.
*Is organised, dependable and able to build positive relationships.
*Holds at least 1 year of experience working in UK schools (essential).

*Have the right to work in the UK.
*Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply).
*Provide references when requested.
*Have up-to-date Safeguarding Training (or willingness to complete this).
