We’re looking for an experienced Network Engineer with strong Fortinet/FortiGate expertise to join our team based in Bromley South. This is a fully on-site role requiring attendance in the office five days a week.
Key Responsibilities*Design, configure, and support Fortinet/FortiGate firewall solutions
*Day-to-day management of FortiGate devices using FortiGate CLI
*Troubleshoot network and security issues across LAN/WAN environments
*Implement and maintain firewall policies, VPNs, NAT, and routing
*Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and security
*Work closely with internal teams to support business-critical systems
*Produce and maintain clear technical documentation
Required Skills & Experience*Proven experience as a Network Engineer in a production environment
*Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet/FortiGate firewalls
*Confident working with FortiGate CLI
*Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching)
*Experience with VPN technologies (IPSec/SSL)
*Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues efficiently
Desirable*Fortinet certifications (NSE 4 or above)
*Experience in a security-focused or enterprise environment
*Exposure to monitoring and logging tools
Location RequirementThis role is office-based in Bromley South, requiring 5 days per week on-site. Remote or hybrid working is not available for this position.
