A well-established accountancy practice is seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Accountant to join its team. Role Responsibilities
*Prepare and review statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
*Ensure compliance with UK GAAP, FRS 102, and Companies House filing requirements.
*Provide clients with strategic insights based on financial data.
*Supervise junior staff, delegate tasks, and review their work.
*Coach, mentor, and support team members in their professional development.
*Lead team meetings and foster a collaborative working culture.
*Ensure all work is completed with high accuracy and attention to detail.
*Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold professional integrity.
Personal Requirements
*AAT qualified minimum; ACA or ACCA qualifications are advantageous.
*Strong working knowledge of UK tax and accounting regulations.
*Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage).
*Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and financial modelling.
*Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive approach.
*Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
*Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
*Adaptable, resilient, and self-motivated.
